On October 11, 2025, our school successfully hosted a film viewing event for "Nanjing Photography Studio," generously sponsored by our school supervisor, Ms Maisy HO Chiu Ha.
The film is based on real events happened in the Nanjing Massacre, telling the poignant story of how civilians risked their lives to preserve evidence of the atrocities committed by the Japanese army. The movie not only portrays the harsh realities of history but also provokes deep reflections on humanity and courage among the students.
Throughout the viewing, students were fully engaged and responded enthusiastically. Under the guidance of our school teachers, they participated in reflections before and after the screening. Many students reported that the film deepened their understanding of history and made them acutely aware of its weight, enhancing their empathy and sense of social responsibility.
