It was honored to host a visit by the Permanent Secretary for Education, Chan Wing Shiu, May, JP, accompanied by the District Officer (Kwai Tsing) and the Chairman of the Kwai Tsing District Council, Mr. LEUNG Sing Lung, Edric, JP, other government officials, and a total of 16 Kwai Tsing District Council members on December 10th 2025. The meeting aimed to strengthen communication among the Education Bureau, the District Council, and the school, with a focus on showcasing the school's achievements in AI-enhanced learning, STEAM education, and holistic student development.
Accompanied by School Sponsoring Body Managers Mr. CHAN Siu Kan and Ms. WONG Wing Sum, the guests first experienced how the school integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) into various subjects to facilitate technology-enabled personalized learning. Following this, teachers and students presented their innovation project outcomes in the STEM Innovation Laboratory, including two student entries for competitions: the "Autonomous Fashion Manufacturing Factory" and the "Ball Launching Mechanical Device," fully demonstrating the students' interdisciplinary application skills. Guests also participated in three humanitarian-focused VR experience activities.
At the school's specially designed CZM cafe, student CHENG Hoi Ching, a previous award winner in the Hong Kong Schools Latte Art Competition, demonstrated her latte art skills, highlighting the school's commitment to diverse student development beyond academics. Simultaneously, WU Ka Wai, a "Junior Astronaut," shared her valuable inspection experiences and reflections from Beijing, Wenchang (Hainan), Xian and Jiuquan in a news interviewing style.
The event concluded with a spectacular "Depths of the Ocean" drone performance presented by the school's Drone Team. The students used the music of “Under the Sea” to perfectly blend technology and art.
The visit concluded successfully in a pleasant and inspiring atmosphere.
